PRE 101 is a two-credit course designed to enable new KU students make a successful transition to the University. Topics include an introduction to university history, resources, policies and procedures; the diverse KU community; and basic academic skills. Students explore the academic, personal and professional goals, and how they can contribute to the academic and social community of the university. Sections are small–no more than 25 students–and are taught by experienced university staff and faculty. The course is open to any student with fewer than 30 credit hours and counts as elective credit toward graduation.
